myHAE App has been developed by Shire as an educational service for people living with hereditary angioedema (HAE) in Australia.

You can record details of your HAE attacks and build a comprehensive medical record of your HAE history (complete with photos). Symptoms, triggers and treatment can all be clearly and concisely tracked. You can even create records for other family members who may not have their own smartphone.

Your complete HAE diary can then be shared with your healthcare team. This is a concise tool that helps communicate the impact of living with HAE.

myAttack
In this section, you can record symptoms, triggers, location, severity, treatment and the impact of your HAE attack and even add a photo. These details can then be saved to the App diary, which remains confidential on the device and can only be forwarded to whom you choose. You can also create records for other family members who may not have a smartphone of their own.

Simply select the date, then tick the symptoms listed. Rate the severity of the attack. Then answer prompts about medication use, how you or another person treated the attack and how soon symptoms began to improve.

Complete the record by entering how the attack impacted your life and upload a photo, when appropriate, to clearly show the severity of your attack.

myDiary
Allows you to record the details of your attacks, then organises this information so you can review and edit it later to give a more accurate picture. The diary contains comprehensive detail on your HAE attacks and arranges this information as an overview with up to 5 attacks per page to give you and your healthcare team a better insight into your life living with HAE. This section also contains email addresses so you can easily send these details on to your healthcare team. This diary will become an invaluable resource in the treatment of your HAE.

myHAE
In this section you can keep details of your treatment and also the contact information of your healthcare team of doctors and nurses. The myHAE App has links to the HAE Australasia website and the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) website with valuable patient information and support for people living with HAE in Australia.

Patient-doctor confidentiality is assured.
